Alexander Beckford M.S.
Alexander is in the process of obtaining his psychotherapy permit and is licensed by the OCCOQ. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Concordia University.
Alexander has received extensive internship training at the Argyle Institute in Psychodynamic Therapy. Additionally, he is trained in Mindfulness, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Integrative Therapy. Currently, he is undergoing training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Melissa Stern Ph.D., Psychologist
Dr. Melissa Stern is a licensed psychologist who has been working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and families for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the McGill School/Applied Child Psychology program where her research focused on adolescents’ and young adults’ emotional regulation and self-harm. She has experience working in various clinical settings such as in private practice, hospital outpatient clinics as well as the McGill University Assessment Clinic.
Notably, Melissa received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute’s Child and Adolescent Depressive Disorders Clinic.

Amanda Moore
Dr. Amanda Moore is a licensed clinical psychologist and a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (O.P.Q.). She is a graduate of the McGill University Clinical Psychology doctoral program. She has diverse experience conducting individual and group therapy with teens and adults across the lifespan in various clinical settings, such as private practice and public tertiary care clinics. Samantha Scholes is a Doctoral Candidate at McGill in the School/Applied Child Psychology program and a student member of the L’Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec (OPQ), under the supervision of Dr. Melissa Stern. She is also a PEERS® certified provider for adolescents and for school-based environments. Samantha has also received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is undergoing training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Throughout her professional career, she has gained extensive experience in both research and clinical settings, working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults both with and without neurodevelopmental conditions (i.e., autism, ADHD, intellectual disability). Fanny Barret (she/her) is a clinical counsellor and holds a Masters degree (MA) in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and a BA in Applied Psychology from Bishop’s University.
During the course of her studies, Fanny completed a year-long internship providing counselling services to cancer patients and their caregivers. She had previously completed an internship with university students, and went on to work as a high school counsellor, providing mental health and career counselling to adolescents from 12 to 17 years old. She worked with a variety of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, fear of dying, survivor’s guilt, relationship issues (with partners, parents, and friends) substance abuse, and gender and sexuality issues.
